18th Street Adventure

This weekend we needed to run a few errands in the city. Unfortunately as you might have already discovered we are easily distracted. Blake had to work Saturday morning so I was to meet him at Union Square. When I came out of the subway it was POURING RAIN. Don't worry I had very little time to be disappointed there before me glowing like a beacon, was fresh steaming Pear Cider and homemade cinnamon and sugar Donuts. At $2.75 for the whole cup and caboodle who could pass that up. Plus Blake hadn't arrived yet therefore there was no one to sway the taste-bud trance.

When Blake arrived we head down 18th street toward TJ Maxx... Oh the wonders we did behold. 18th street is adorned with many delightful shops those with which we are already familiar and those we have yet to experience. In H& M we came across this lovely fellow, Yellow is defiantly his color!

We popped in and out of fine retail boutiques and paper couture specialty shops. We passed the Cupcake Cafe were we gave into our sweet tooth for one of these babies!

After we finished our errands we decided to try a local hot spot that one of Blake's clients had
recommended.

*NYC FUN FACT: The shake shack is a very popular eatery here in the city. On most day you will find a line that goes out the door and around the corner. The popularity of the shack doesn't only stems from there great burgers and shakes or their catchy T- shirt slogans( What's Shackin') But from there attention to trendy details.
